The PhotoFlexys: A Multi‐Purpose Reactor Platform to Simplify Process Intensification and Mechanistic Studies in Photochemistry

Reactor technology plays a vital role in photochemistry since process efficiency and reproducibility largely depend on the used reactor design. Considering diverse requirements for photochemical reactions, we have developed multi-purpose platform that aims an equally efficient implementation of reactions under batch continuous flow conditions. Interchangeable irradiation units functionalities reduce necessary equipment running to minimum. The versatility has been tested variety benchmark batch, multi-batch Uniting strengths photoreactor with in-situ monitoring approach permitted reliable kinetic mechanistic studies.
